Short-Term Stay Rules
It is our goal to afford each and every camper the ability to rest and relax in a tranquil atmosphere and serene, natural environment. We ask all campers and guests to help make this possible for everyone. Please read the following rules and regulations regarding your stay at Kootenay River RV Park.
General Rules
- Check-in is after 1:00 PM and check-out is before 11:00 AM; late stays may be subject to a fee.
- We are a quiet park at all times of day. Excessive noise is not permitted — please note that sound carries further outdoors, especially music and loud talking.
- Please help us keep the grounds clean and orderly throughout your stay, and leave your site the same way upon departure. Garbage should be placed in the green refuse bin at the northeast edge of the property.
- The park is not responsible for injury or damage due to wind, water, fire, or negligence of you or others.
- Washrooms are closed daily from 11:00 AM to 1:00 PM for cleaning; no one is permitted to use the washrooms during this time.
- Generator use and washing of vehicles or RVs is not permitted.
- Smoking is not permitted in any public facilities.
- Park rates are based on 2 people. Additional guests must be registered and will be charged an additional daily fee.
- Pop-up or temporary shelters are not permitted.
Parking & Speed Limit
- The speed limit is 10 km/h. All vehicles parked or operated in the park must be street legal and insured.
- Please park only in designated areas. Individual sites accommodate one vehicle only; additional vehicles (including visitors') must use designated parking areas.
Pets
- Pets must be on a leash at all times and registered with the park.
- Pets are not allowed in any public facilities and must not be left unattended at any time.
- Please pick up after your pet immediately and dispose of waste in the green refuse bin.
These rules and regulations are in place for your safety and to ensure an enjoyable camping experience for everyone. They will be enforced, and anyone who chooses not to follow them may be asked to leave the premises without a refund. Kootenay River RV Park is privately owned, and we reserve the right to select our guests.
